How crazy is your little biker? The Bell Segment Junior bike helmet - little brother to the regular Bell Segment - is a sturdy helmet for the most daring young biker. Better still, what is unique about the Bell Segment is the design of the interior liner material. Bell created numerous "channels" or "segments" in the liner, so that the helmet can flex and conform to your kids head. So, you get the benefit of a helmet that meets the CPSC bike helmet standard, but the helmet fits and feels more like a soft liner helmet (which kids typically love).

Bell has included two sets of fit pads to ensure the Segment is not only comfortable, but secure on your kid's head.  Besides meeting the CPSC safety standard, Bell went a step further to meet the BMX helmet safety standard, ASTM F2032.  Relax.  The Bell Segment has your son or daughter covered.

The Bell Segment Junior Helmet features:

  • Outer shell, poly-carbonate shell glued to EPS liner
  • Ventilation:  8 vents keep head cool
  • Deep rear profile extends back of head protection
  • Fit strap:  Attaches to helmet at back/front of ears; sliding buckles tighten/loosen at ears
  • Chin buckle slides, clicks when secure
  • Padding:  3 pieces, removable, washable; 2 extra sets for size customization included
  • Weight:  500 grams for size large
  • Safety standards:  Meets US CPSC, AZ/NZS 2063 and ASTM F2032 BMX safety standards (2015 and later models are tested to ASTM F1492 safety standard)
  • Suitable for skateboard, mtn/bmx biking, road/recreational biking, inline/derby skate
